On November 1, Misty Blanco and The Misty TV Firm Corporation opened the first chapter of I D’USSÉ: The Final Note — The Met Gala of MicDrops, an annual, private, invitation-only event built around fashion, music, storytelling, and brand culture.
The evening brought together artists, entrepreneurs, investors, and representatives from companies whose combined brand value was presented as reaching an extraordinary $198 billion. Among the organizations represented on the masquerade VIP list were Lionsgate, DC and Marvel Comics, Marvel, the NAACP, Walt Disney, D’USSÉ, Roc Nation, Sheen Magazine, GQ Magazine, Louis Vuitton Company representatives, and IMG representatives, along with others.

The masquerade masks helped create an atmosphere of mystery. Guests could observe the show discreetly, with some concealing their identities as they took in the performances and the world Misty Blanco had built. Chef D and Amara Skye were also spotted at the event.
A room where creativity and opportunity meet
For Misty Blanco, the gathering was more than a performance showcase. It was a demonstration of how a creative concept can bring artists and brands into the same room—and create space for relationships, visibility, and new business.
Among the companies and emerging brands represented were UFO Rolls, Bowlson Investment Group, Gem Enterprise Group, Roux Royale Beauty Bar, and Umerica Bank Solutions. Guests mingled and networked throughout the event, reflecting Misty Blanco’s vision of a creative ecosystem where music, fashion, beauty, entrepreneurship, and investment can meet.

It was a night of fashion, beauty, elegance, and D’USSÉ, with rising brands connecting with established names. The aim was to build meaningful relationships, open doors, and turn connections into currency and lasting wealth.
Clothing brands Tailormade and Studio 613 were part of the event’s fashion presence. Tailormade styled Misty TV artists Quisy, Kid Pat, and WHYTE Tony, as well as rising artist Fantastik of Annie Opportunity Knocks.
Celebrity photographers Nikon Don and Salt and Light Media captured product-placement imagery for D’USSÉ Cognac, a company described by the event as valued at $3.3 billion. Their work, produced courtesy of The Misty TV Firm Corporation, helped bring the brand into the visual story of the night. Misty Blanco is an international creative representative and influencer for D’USSÉ, while also releasing her own music through Roc Nation.

Interviews, performances, and a new class of talent
The show put emerging and rising talent in front of a room filled with industry attention. Quisy, Kid Pat, Who Is Lantern, Hollywood Fresh, Demi G, Bangaveli, and WHYTE Tony delivered energetic performances that kept the night moving.
On Misty Blanco’s I D’USSÉ stage, J Massiah was interviewed and featured as a comic whose work and momentum have the industry watching. Ms. Kool G, CEO of Gem Enterprise Group, was also interviewed on the I D’USSÉ stage alongside her artists Hollywood Fresh, Demi G, and Bangaveli.
Misty Blanco introduced WHYTE Tony as a new emerging artist of The Misty TV Firm Corporation, bringing his introduction and performance together as part of the evening’s presentation of a rising creative class.

The Roc Nation stage featured interviews with Chef D, Dr. Ramona Maurice, Quisy, Kid Pat, Nikon Don, Amara Skye, and Keith On Tour. Across both stages, the conversations and performances brought artists, entrepreneurs, photographers, and industry figures into the same creative space.
Misty Blanco made her own debut appearance and performance as her alter ego, Layla Imani, performing “Black Heroine” from her album Call Me Layla Imani, which charted at No. 1 on May 29, 2026. Her recent releases also include “Zhip” and “Porch Light On.” The performance placed Misty Blanco in two roles at once: the executive shaping the evening and the artist stepping into the spotlight.
Melodic Bop: when the unexpected fits
Misty Blanco created the genre Melodic Bop and continues to define its reach through her work. It is more than a sound or a label. It is a wave of entertainment—and a room full of creative elements you might not expect to share the same space.
Fashion beside music. Business beside performance. Masquerade beside self-expression. Established brands beside rising artists. A tribute to a legacy beside the introduction of a new class. At first, these pieces may seem like they belong in separate rooms. Misty Blanco’s idea is to bring them together, find the rhythm between them, and make the combination feel right. When the mix connects, you feel the impact: you get Bopped, because it fits.

That is the creative theory at the heart of I D’USSÉ: The Final Note. Melodic Bop creates room for contrast, then turns that contrast into cohesion. The unexpected combination becomes the experience. Every performance, image, outfit, conversation, and brand presence adds another frequency to the whole. It is not simply about watching a show; it is about entering a world where different forms of creativity can interact and make something new.
The MicDrop follows that same idea. It is not limited to a microphone or a single dramatic moment. It travels across frequencies—through performance, production, fashion, photography, brand storytelling, and the connections formed in the room. Each part contributes to the larger statement.
Misty Blanco’s approach points toward a new kind of artist executive: one who creates the platform, develops the creative language, builds the visual world, and performs within it. In that model, the artist is not only waiting to be selected by an industry. The artist can help design the space where the next class is introduced, seen, and connected.
Honoring a legacy while building what comes next

During the event, Misty Blanco honored Mr. John Blassingame for 50 years of groundbreaking work and for creating career-changing opportunities for artists, brands, and companies. She presented him with The Note of All Notes: The Purple Rose Award, a new award created by Misty Blanco. Its rose symbolizes an enduring legacy—an honor designed to stand apart from the familiar image of an enchanted rose.
Mr. Blassingame supports the show and its movement 100 percent. He also served as one of the fashion show coordinators, helping bring models and designers onto the platform to experience I D’USSÉ: The Final Note — The Met Gala of MicDrops. His role connected the evening’s tribute to his long record of creating opportunities for others.
The event linked generations of creative leadership: recognition for a career that opened doors, alongside a new platform intended to create opportunities of its own.
The next chapter: a private Super Bowl Gala of Fashion
The I D’USSÉ: The Final Note universe is set to expand with another private event: a Super Bowl Gala of Fashion. Planned for February 14, 2027, in Los Angeles, the private gathering will bring the Misty TV, D’USSÉ, Roc Nation, and ROC Solid Podcast worlds together for a night of style, culture, and celebration.

Jay-Z is set to headline the Super Bowl LXI halftime show on February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. (amp.nfl.com) As he takes center stage, Roc Nation, ROC Solid Podcast, D’USSÉ, and The Misty TV Firm Corporation will be in full force—bringing their energy, raising their Roc signs at the Super Bowl in full support of Jay Z and another ground breaking moment in history for him.
November 1 marked the first part of the event, including private filming for the show. Misty Blanco is scheduled to film the second part on January 31, 2027, as another invitation-only, themed gathering. Each chapter is designed as a distinct experience, with its own creative world and presentation.

As the first edition establishes its place, I D’USSÉ: The Final Note signals a pivotal moment for Misty Blanco and The Misty TV Firm Corporation. It introduces a new class of artists and entrepreneurs to a room built around possibility—and advances Misty Blanco’s vision of what an artist-led creative company can become: a platform that develops culture, creates access, honors legacy, and sets its own marks.
