Jennifer Theodosiou Turns Lived Experience Into Advocacy Through RN to Felon

Born in Queens in 1995 and raised on Long Island, Jennifer Theodosiou has built a multifaceted path shaped by healthcare, photography, writing, music and, above all, advocacy. Now residing in Jackson Heights, Theodosiou draws from her own lived experiences to create work intended to support people navigating some of life’s most difficult circumstances.

Professionally trained in nursing, Theodosiou earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Adelphi University and previously worked as a Registered Nurse. Her experience in healthcare has contributed to her understanding of the complex realities people can face within the healthcare system. Alongside her professional background, she has also worked as a published photographer, using visual storytelling to capture what she describes as the raw truth of the human condition experience.

Advocacy remains at the center of Theodosiou’s mission. Drawing on her lived experience, she aims to shine a light for people who are currently struggling while guiding and supporting those navigating the often complex and unyielding realities of the legal and healthcare systems.

Her first book, RN to Felon, represents an important part of that journey. The book brings her experiences into a written format and reflects her broader effort to create awareness around the challenges faced by people dealing with complicated personal, legal and healthcare circumstances.

Beyond writing and photography, Theodosiou has also developed a presence in music and digital entertainment. She has become a viral sensation with a music video directed by Harry Edgar Palacio, which reached 66,000 views in 2026. Her creative work continues through her remix and DJ career on SoundCloud, where she has been gaining traction with samples from Nas.

Her musical identity adds another dimension to an already diverse creative journey. From nursing and photography to authorship, remixing and DJ work, Theodosiou continues to explore different ways of expressing herself and connecting with audiences.

Her approach to music is described as down to Mars, reflecting an individual style that sits comfortably outside a single professional category. Addyhead is also associated with her musical identity and has “block-rocking beatz,” adding another creative element to her evolving work.
