Behind every extraordinary story is a person who found the courage to keep going.
For recording artist and author SKG (Helecia Choyce), 2026 represents more than a successful year in publishing. It marks a deeply meaningful chapter in her journey toward healing, personal growth, and reclaiming the power of her own story.
With the release of The Monster Within and All Bets on Me — 30-Day Self-Affirmation Journal, SKG offers readers two different yet connected perspectives on the human experience.
Her memoir, The Monster Within, explores the emotional impact of surviving traumatic experiences while highlighting the resilience required to rebuild a life after adversity.
Her companion inspirational publication, All Bets on Me, encourages readers to look inward, challenge negative beliefs, embrace their worth, and establish positive daily habits through 30 days of personal affirmations and reflection.
Together, the books represent a journey from surviving difficult circumstances to discovering renewed confidence and purpose.
“There comes a point in life when you realize that everything you’ve survived has taught you something,” says SKG. “I wanted to create something meaningful out of my experiences. If my books help even one person believe in themselves again, then sharing my story was worth it.”
As an independent artist, mother, entrepreneur, and now two-time published author, SKG continues to demonstrate that personal reinvention is possible at every stage of life.
Her newest journal, All Bets on Me, is a special limited-edition release available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
Both books are available now.
