Following the release of his four-track project ACT ZERØ, the Italian DJ and producer keeps the momentum moving with a new electro and tech-house driven club record.
Italian DJ and producer Nick Tribe is keeping his foot on the gas with “No Turning Back,” his latest single, out October 2 via Tribelex Records.
Built around a bouncy bassline, electro-driven production and a recurring “No Turning Back” vocal, the track sits firmly in club territory. It brings together the high-energy approach that has defined Tribe’s DJ sets with the increasingly clear direction of his own productions.
But the title also happens to capture where he finds himself as an artist.
After spending years DJing, creating mashups and edits and developing his sound behind the decks, 2026 has marked a shift towards releasing original music consistently. September saw the arrival of ACT ZERØ, a four-track project whose title reflected exactly that idea: zero comes before one.
“No Turning Back” picks up naturally from there.
Rather than treating each release as an isolated event, Nick Tribe is approaching this period as the beginning of a much longer run.
The decision has been made to release, keep releasing and allow the sound to develop publicly along the way instead of waiting indefinitely for the perfect record, moment or opportunity.
In that sense, “No Turning Back” has taken on a meaning beyond the vocal at the centre of the track.
“The title pretty much describes where my head is at right now. I’ve started putting the music out, and now I just want to keep pushing, keep releasing and see how far I can take it. There’s no point looking backwards anymore.”
Musically, the single continues the direction Nick Tribe has been carving out across his recent productions.
House and tech house provide the foundation, while electro influences, punchy low end and a bouncy drop give the record a harder, more playful character.
It is a sound built first and foremost for clubs.
That approach comes naturally from Nick Tribe’s background as a DJ. His sets have long revolved around high-energy house music alongside his own mashups and edits, with performances taking him across Italy, Malta, Lithuania and Germany. His edits and releases have also appeared in the Top 100 on platforms including Hypeddit and Droploud.
More recently, his “Nick Tribe’s In Da House” mix series has continued that momentum online, drawing thousands of listeners and offering another snapshot of the sound Tribe is building around his artist project.
With “No Turning Back,” the distinction between the records he wants to play and the records he wants to make is becoming increasingly small.
There is also a deliberate sense of momentum behind the timing. ACT ZERØ arrived on September 12. “No Turning Back” follows less than a month later.
Rather than disappearing between releases, Nick intends to keep new music moving consistently.
If ACT ZERØ represented the starting point, “No Turning Back” represents what happens after it: committing to the process and moving forward.
And if the title of the latest one is anything to go by, the process has already started.
